Kalshi trades spark Spotify investigation into fake streams

Spotify has been forced to remove more than 500k streams of a song that topped its US chart after – in the Financial Times’ words – “discovering that the surge in streaming coincided with a jump in suspicious wagers on prediction market Kalshi”.
