Snapchat is demoting AI content from its spotlight feed

Snapchat is officially putting its foot down on AI-generated content. The platform has updated its Spotlight algorithm (its short-form video feed) to demote wholly AI-generated videos, stripping them of recommendation eligibility to protect user experience from low-quality AI slop.
