The Onion and the families of Sandy Hook victims have reached an agreement to take over Alex Jones’ Infowars. The site will be relaunched as a parody of its previous iteration. Jones declared bankruptcy in 2022 following a court order to pay $1 billion in damages to the families for promoting conspiracy theories about the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
