YouTube's updated viewcount policy

YouTube has revised its policy for counting views on long-form content. A view is now registered as soon as the first frame of a video loads. Previously, a minimum watch time was required, though this duration was not officially disclosed but was generally understood to be 30 seconds. Originally reported by Music Ally.
